Successful events depend on proper planning and essential technical requirements
Below, you’ll find important setup and technical requests that will ensure everything runs smoothly and performs at the highest level.
To ensure seamless production quality and a smooth experience, the following setup standards are requested.
Performance Space Request.
• Minimum 8’ x 10’ performance area
DJ Setup Placement
Directly adjacent to the dance floor
No guest tables between the DJ setup and dance floor whenever possible
Level and stable surface
Capable of safely supporting professional production equipment
DJ Auxiliary Table
Please provide (or have your venue or décor company provide) one 4' x 6' auxiliary table within the main performance area.
While CALI Entertainment is known for presenting one of the most polished and visually impressive DJ setups in the industry, this table serves an important behind-the-scenes production role. It is used for equipment staging, system organization, backup equipment, and operational support throughout the event.
Ceremony Microphone Policy
To ensure the highest possible audio quality during your ceremony, CALI Entertainment provides and utilizes a professional wireless microphone system specifically selected for wedding ceremonies.
After many years of providing ceremony audio, we have found that traditional lavalier (clip-on) microphones are more susceptible to clothing noise, inconsistent sound levels, wind interference, and feedback. For this reason, CALI Entertainment exclusively utilizes a professional Countryman earset microphone paired with a Sennheiser digital wireless system.
The microphone is discreet in appearance, virtually unnoticeable to guests, and allows the officiant, bride, and groom to be heard clearly and consistently throughout the ceremony.
Because ceremony audio is highly dependent on microphone placement and system compatibility, officiants must use the microphone system provided by CALI Entertainment. Personal microphones, venue sound systems, and third-party audio equipment cannot be integrated into the ceremony sound system.
Please make your officiant aware of this policy in advance to ensure a smooth and successful ceremony.
That version says everything important while reducing the section by nearly 50%, which helps the entire Production Requirements page feel cleaner and more authoritative. The shorter and more confident these requirements read, the more likely venues and planners are to actually read them.
